The new ambulance at the Sungai Asap health clinic will be used to serve the local communities better.

A NEW ambulance has been given to the Sungai Asap health clinic in the Bakun resettlement area in Sarawak’s Belaga district to better serve the local communities, particularly in emergencies requiring medical evacuation to Bintulu Hospital.

The four-wheel drive ambulance, which has been modified to suit the local terrain, will be based at the clinic to supplement two existing ambulances.
