200 industry players take responsible tourism pledge


Representatives from Sarawak’s tourism industry taking the pledge during the industry briefing led by the Sarawak Tourism Board.

SARAWAK’S tourism industry players have taken a Responsible Tourism pledge to reduce their environmental footprint, support local communities and protect culture and heritage.

Nearly 200 organisations made the commitment during an industry briefing led by the Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), which was held simultaneously in Kuching, Sibu and Miri.
