TWO staff members of a premise were issued compound notices on Thursday (June 10) because they did not register their attendance through the MySejahtera app.
Meanwhile, two other premises were closed by the Selayang Municipal council because the businesses carried out were different as compared to the licence they had. The premises also ignored the council’s previous orders to shut down.
In addition to that, seven premises were issued compound notices for various offences for breaching the standard operating procedure (SOP) for the movement control order, besides committing offences related to the license.
Some 60 premises were inspected and 25 of which were not operating when the authorities carried out their inspections.
The operations were also assisted by police and the armed forces personnel.
“The authorities checked on the SOP such as obtaining work approval, the number of staff in accordance with the limit set by the authorities, if the MySejahtera app was used, face masks worn by staff in the premises, social distancing practices and body temperature recorded.
“Two premises were issued with a RM1, 500 compound notice each because their staff did not register their attendance using the MySejahtera app, ” said the Selayang Municipal council spokesman Ahmad Fauzi Ishak.
