SINCE January, hikers who wanted shelter or go for a toilet break could do so at the three pavilions and toilet facility on top of Iconic Hill, also known as Botak Hill in Bukit Gambir, Penang.

However, these facilities at the popular hiking trail will no longer be available for hikers as the fixtures were demolished by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) on Friday morning.
