LOCAL event and seminar organiser Richworks International officially launched its Bina Bisnes Berjaya (BBB) seminar series – a pioneering platform to equip entrepreneurs with knowledge, training and consultation to weather the impact of Covid-19.

The free virtual seminar garnered a total of 65,000 participants from Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei every weekend, since its first session on Feb 6.

Business consultant and marketing expert Datuk Dr Azizan Osman said Rickworks helped 400,000 participants in 2020 and aims to help over one million Malaysians who are interested in running their own business in 2021.

At the virtual launch ceremony on Feb 20, Azizan announced the launch of its new virtual programme Your First Million Summit set to go live from Feb 26-28, for free.

The new programme is part of its ongoing virtual BBB seminar series and would showcase a few millionaires who were mentored by Rickworks.

Azizan said no business is insignificant, and “if you have the right knowledge, strategy and systems in place you would be able to build a successful business.”

“We are willing to teach and guide for free those who are willing to learn, ” he added.

Azizan aims to assist businesses that have been operational for several years but have yet to cross the seven-figure earnings threshold.

In line with this, Richworks would be sponsoring 10 entrepreneurs under its Richworks Mentoring Programme titled Sapphire worth some RM250,000.

The year-long sponsorship is an intensive business mentoring programme for ongoing businesses in operation for at least three years with minimum monthly earnings of RM30,000.

Those interested are to write in, stating their business ambitions. Selected applicants will be called for an interview and the winners will be announced during the BBB seminar Nak Ubah Hidup in March 2021.

During the virtual press conference, Richworks International assistant senior vice-president Radz Mohd said: “Under the Sapphire mentoring programme we will focus on four pillars with sales and marketing being the first, followed by finance compliance, leadership and the operations aspect of a business.”

He added that the seminar is held to help those affected by Covid-19, whether they are entrepreneurs or not.

“It’s like a lifeline, ” he said.

Rickworks trained and consulted 777 SME entrepreneurs in 2020 with a combined reported sales of some RM2bil through their businesses.

“We focus on what we do well and refine it, that is our key to success, ” said Radz.

The weekly seminar would showcase successful businesses who were mentored and cultivated through Richworks’ seminars and coaching.

A total of 30 millionaires mentored by Richworks will share their personal and professional journeys to inspire and guide participants, as well as the highs and lows of their entrepreneurial journey. For more information and to sign up for BBB Your First Million Summit, visit
