SIX squat toilets have been replaced with new sit-down toilets at the Taman Terubong Jaya market and food complex in Paya Terubong, Penang.

Penang Island City councillor Tan Soo Siang said prior to the upgrading project, residents had given their feedback on the squat toilets, which were not user-friendly.
