Tree felling raises eyebrows

TREES within the compound of St George’s Girls’ School in Penang were only trimmed as a safety measure and not chopped down as claimed by the public.

State education director Abdul Rashid Abdul Samad said the trimming exercise on Saturday was purely a safety measure as the trees were posing danger to students and teachers at the school.
