SEEING that many of the hand sanitisers in the market have a drying effect on the skin, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Penang is using its expertise to produce its own hand sanitiser.

Its chemical engineering faculty senior lecturer Mohamed Syazwan Osman said the hand sanitiser they produced had 70% alcohol content as well as cucumber extract and tea tree oil which can moisturise the skin.
