VISITORS around the flea market in Rope Walk along Lorong Kulit in Penang were handed pamphlets on the fast-spreading novel coronavirus (Covid-19) from Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo.

The pamphlets give a lowdown on all things about the virus from it being a new strain that was not previously identified in humans to how it is spread and the various indicators of the virus.

Gobind was in Penang to launch the Information on Wheels project recently.

The project, initiated by his ministry, uses a van equipped with a loudhailer to broadcast information about the coronavirus to the public.
