MP: More mobile labs needed at border checkpoints


Long queues at the entry point into northern Sarawak in Miri because of the influx of visitors from Brunei daily.

MIRI: Sarawak must open more mobile lab facilities for comprehensive on-the-spot health checks at the many entry points in this vast state.

Miri MP Dr Teo Yu Keng said Miri was a major entry point into Sarawak for foreigners coming in from Brunei, including China nationals who flew from China to Brunei en route to Miri.
