THE state government has resolved the controversy surrounding the proposed building of a Buddhist meditation centre in Taman Kumbar Permai in Teluk Kumbar.

Penang non-Islamic religious affairs committee chairman Chong Eng said the Persatuan Penganut Amitabha Pulau Pinang had agreed to build the three-storey building at a new site in Gertak Sanggul, which is 10km away from the present location.
