RM50,000 raised in aid of disabled

THE Society for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled of Selangor and Federal Territory (PPOC), also known as Rumah Insaniah Tun Dr Siti Hasmah, received more than RM50,000 thanks to fundraising efforts at the 11th Latin American Festival.

The proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets and food at the festival, which was held in June at Plaza Low Yat and bbpark Bukit Bintang, were handed over to PPOC at a cheque presentation ceremony.
