SIBU: Sarawak, which is still in the Second Industrial Revolution (Industry 2.0), has no choice but to jump straight into Industry 4.0 or else risk being left behind and becoming irrelevant.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Openg said based on theoretical physicist and futurist Prof Michio Kaku’s predictions, the state has to prepare its people, its future workforce and leaders for Industry 4.0 as it could have a major impact on foreign direct investment (FDI) into Sarawak.
