THE scorching heat did not stop people from queuing up for their favourite Ais Tingkap (window sherbet) drink as it celebrated its centenary year.

As part of the celebration, 1,000 free cups of Ais Tingkap were given out to the public in Tamil Street, near Chowrasta Market in George Town, Penang.
