KUCHING: Sarawak should carry out more research and development into cultivating plants used by local communities for non-timber forest products (NTFP), says an assistant minister.
Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Len Talif Salleh said this was important to ensure that NTFP resources are not depleted for future use.
