LANDSCAPING is not just about making gardens more attractive, but also designing them to serve practical purposes.

“Landscaping is not just about aesthetics, it also serves practical purposes through various functional designs and styles,” said Maxly Landscape Sdn Bhd founder Low Kok Kong.

“For example, certain vertical plants block properties against sunlight and dust from the road. They also provide shade and hide parts of a property from the outside.

“In addition, flowers and fruit-bearing plants can attract bees, butterflies and birds, creating a small ecosystem in your garden,” he added.

From water features to timbre structures, Maxly Landscape will showcase a range of landscaping ideas and provide professional consultations at the Perfect Livin’ 2019

home expo from today until Sunday at Setia City Convention Centre.

Established in 1990, the company started out as a landscaping consultancy for theme parks before expanding its services to include residential and commercial properties.

Low said the company took pride in delivering landscaping and aquascaping services of various sizes within short periods.

Visitors to the Maxly Landscape’s exhibition booth at Perfect Livin’ 2019 can expect myriad landscaping ideas for their properties.

“Whether it is a Japanese Zen garden, creepers covering an undesirable-looking wall or a small herb garden, we can tailor-make something for your property.

“We have fibreglass ponds and instant waterfall products that are easy to instal, too.

“These are great for those who practice feng shui and might want to move such a feature,” said Low.

Visitors can also consult with the company on which features and plants suit their properties better.

“Different plants have different characteristics. Some plants cannot take direct sunlight, so they have to be shaded while different trees bring a different vibe to a garden,” he said, adding that Maxly Landscape’s services also covered condominiums.

Visitors who purchase a modular package from Maxly Landscape at the expo will get a set of landscaping plants, pebbles, stepping stones, lanterns and an eco filter system.

Each day, the first 500 registered visitors

will get an exclusive limited-edition Perfect Livin’ Dry Bag 2L for free.

The exhibition is open from 11am to 9pm. Admission is free.
