#AnakAnak Malaysia Walk 2019 participants can soothe any muscle aches with pain-relieving patches in their goodie bags.

Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical is contributing 7,000 sachets of Salonpas Patch 2’s worth over RM10,000.

Its sales and marketing senior executive Lim Huei Ying said this was the company’s third time sponsoring the patriotic walk.

“The Salonpas patches give a cooling sensation which will provide quick and effective relief to muscle pains, stiff neck, sore shoulder, backache and joint pains.

“Each patch lasts for six to eight hours so we recommend participants use the patch on the affected area at night so they will feel refreshed the next morning,” said Lim.

She added that Salonpas is the No.1 analgesic patch in the Malaysian market according to AC Nielsen and was also recognised as World’s No.1 Brand of OTC topical analgesics in the patch category by Euromonitor International Ltd for three consecutive years.

“The sponsorship is also in line with our corporate mission to give out 1.38 million patches this year to Malaysians through sports events and our regular sampling activities to promote patch treatment culture worldwide.

“We believe that this event is a good time for family and friends to bond, on top of helping to nurture unity, harmony and tolerance among Malaysians,” she said.
