MELAKA: The launch of the 2019 National and Fly the Jalur Gemilang Month on Aug 3 at Dataran Pahlawan, Bandar Hilir here will bring back memories of the announcement made by the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al Haj of the country’s independence 63 years ago.

Melaka Information Department director Mohd Rizal Hashim said the programme was in line with Visit Melaka Year 2019 and themed “A Gateway to Historic Malaysia”.
