Healing power of a forest bath

The participants immersed in the sights and sounds of the swampy forest during the forest-bathing session.

INTO the forest they went, seeking peace and calm. Some 100 students and lecturers plus non-governmental organisation (NGO) members enjoyed some eco-therapy at the Sungai Acheh mangrove forest in Penang.

Seberang Prai Municipal Council secretary Rosnani Mahmod said the forest-bathing session was in line with the state government’s initiative for a cleaner and greener Penang.
