ThOUSANDS attended a Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house organised by Original Penang Kayu Nasi Kandar at its restaurant at Jalan SS 2/10, Petaling Jaya.
Guests were treated to dishes such as nasi kandar, mee lontong, sizzling satay, nasi impit and kambing golek.
They were also served Indian food such as roti canai and thosai, spicy chicken curry and two types of fried noodles.
“This is the first time we organised a Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house,” said Original Penang Kayu Nasi Kandar Sdn Bhd managing director Burhan Mohamed.
“The open house was planned from noon till 3pm but since the crowd was so big, we decided to extend the time.“
There were also booths serving hot and cold beverages, including hot tea and coffee along with canned drinks and ice cream.
Media personnel and corporate guests were also treated to a buffet-style lunch.
