Enclave overlooked in development

The narrow inner roads of Kampung Pasir are being used by the condominium residents as their access road.

RESIDENTS and the business community in Jalan Pasir Merah and Jalan Pasir Puteh in Kampung Pasir, off Jalan Kelang Lama, Kuala Lumpur, want to know details of infrastructure contributions by the developers of two projects in their neighbourhood.

The residents claim that two condominium projects have come up in their small neighbourhood of 27 houses and shoplots in the past two years, yet there has been no infrastructure upgrades carried out to accommodate the more than 900 apartment units and additional thousands of vehicles that the development brought.
