THE Penang Island City Council (MBPP) has set up a dog pound for stray and abandoned dogs.
The RM170,000 facility at the council’s Vector and Veterinary Centre in Jalan Sungai, which started neutering dogs on a small scale since March last year, had neutered and released 637 dogs as of April this year.
