JOHOR BARU: Johor Baru City Council (MBJB) issued 56 compound notices to food operators at Ramadan bazaars in the city for failing to adhere to food handling rules outlined by the local authority.

Its mayor Datuk Amran A. Rahman said the compound notices totalling RM14,000 were issued by the council’s Health department following checks conducted at 20 Ramadan bazaars here.
