THE space available at the Sungai Udang sanitary landfill in Melaka is nearing full capacity and the third cell is set to go into operation by end of this year.

Integrated waste management and public cleansing service provider SWM Environment Sdn Bhd (SWM) regional manager for Melaka and Negri Sembilan Dr Al’Ashari Othman said the third cell on the two-hectare site was projected to last until 2023.
