IT was a sea of purple during the state-level International Women’s Day celebration as most of the participants were all dressed in that colour to commemorate the meaningful day at the Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP) headquarters in Bandar Perda Bukit Mertajam.

Themed ‘Balance for Better’, the event also saw a short play and some dance and singing performances from the winners of the Boria Festival 2018.
