JOHOR BARU: The R&F Mall Johor Baru is set to excite shoppers with not just its proximity to the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex (CIQ), but also an eclectic mix of retail experiences.The soon-to-open mall has a link bridge to the CIQ, providing convenient access to both locals and Singaporeans.
R&F Princess Cove general manager Richard Hu said the link bridge would draw a lot of foot traffic to the mall.
He highlighted that the R&F Mall was designed by the same team behind ION Orchard, Singapore, which exemplified a perfect blend of the latest trends in mall design and the interesting South-East Asian context.
“The unique combination of indoor and outdoor space provides a totally different shopping experience for Johoreans.
He added that the mall would also bring in many first-in-JB brands to excite shoppers.
“Some of the tenants include the first Kiddomo Children’s Innovation Centre in JB, Carl’s Jr, Taiwanese Oregin Ji Ke bubble tea, Routine by Soon concept cafe and Emperor Cinemas’ first overseas flagship cinema,” he said during a Chinese New Year celebration at Renaissance Hotel here.
Hu said a new building — R&F Marina Place — would also be opened by the middle of this year.
“It is located right next to the Woodlands Causeway, offering high-end wine cellar, fine dining eateries, trendy fashion outlets, high-tech IMAX and 4D theatre, and yacht club.
“The building will also have the first international opera house in Johor.
“The crew from National Grand Theatre of China is in charge of the sound system set up, stage and lighting design.
“The construction of the building, meanwhile, will be managed by a team with vast experience in building numerous five-star hotels around the world.
He said with the launch of the opera house, R&F Princess Cove will further enhance its position as the most iconic landmark in Johor Baru.
