Thousands of music lovers converged on the historic Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur as it transformed into an electric hub of entertainment for 988 FM’s After Work Fest 2026.
Festival-goers arrived early to explore food stalls and take part in interactive activities before the main concert featuring a lineup of local and regional artistes.
Early performers included Elaine Lee, JunJun, Layla Sania, Hua Chen, Danny Wan and YELLOW.
The second half of the show saw performances by icyball, Bestards, Hana Hope and Firdhaus before Taiwanese sensation Accusefive closed the night to a roaring crowd.
It proved to be a memorable night for fans who sang along to every hit.
Adding to the spectacle, the nearby Menara Merdeka Maybank was lit up in 988 FM’s signature pink, drawing cheers from the crowd.
