THE opening of the Tesco outlet in Bagan Ajam, Butterworth, which is the 58th outlet in the country and seventh in Penang, marks the strong continuous growth of the Tesco brand in Malaysia.

Tesco Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Paul Ritchie said the reason for the store’s growth in Malaysia was strong support from consumers.
