KUCHING: Non-timber forest products (NTFP) can be developed as a source of income for rural communities through smart partnerships between the government and private sector.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said NTFP such as herbs, spices and crafts had the potential to be expanded to the global market.
