Promoting light meals on wheels

BRAHIM’s second Anyone Can Cook Roadshow in Pahang saw the brand introducing its new light meal rice at the Giant Superstore Kuantan and bringing its solar-powered Mobile Café to Mega Mall Kuantan.

At the events, there were cooking demos, food sampling, family games and lucky draws.

“This roadshow is an opportunity to introduce our new light meal rice and our Mobile Café to Kuantan folk,” said Dewina Holdings Sdn Bhd group managing director Nur Fatin Ibrahim.

She said the product was labelled as a “light meal’ because it is portioned for one person’s consumption in a 180g pack and ready to eat in just one minute.

“It is the perfect choice for those on the go who are looking for a quick and affordable, yet healthy and filling meal,” she said.

The light meal range has three flavours – Chinese Style Fried Rice, Spicy Fried Rice and Soy Sauce Fried Rice.

“Its small, compact and light-weight packaging can easily fit into your bag. When hunger strikes, or if you are pressed for time, just heat the pouch in the microwave oven on high for one minute or boiling water for five minutes and it’s done.

“Perfect for breakfast, lunch, any meal of the day or occasion,” said Nur Fatin.

“We do not compromise on the ingredients,” she added.

“Our new rice range uses the same standard of ingredients except for the type of rice.

“For the light meal range, we use long grain rice while for the premium rice range, we use high quality Basmathi rice. In this respect, we are offering an affordable choice for those who want simple meals that come in handy packaging.”

On Brahim’s Mobile Café, Nur Fatin said: “It is the company’s new venture in reaching out to consumers not only in the city but also in suburban areas with the environment in mind using our solar-powered mobile café to reduce our carbon footprint.

“We are presenting it with a different twist with cooking demos and free food samplings for our customers. At the same time, we offer a la carte and combo menus for takeaway, and customers can also choose to buy our full range of products from light meals and ready-to-eat rice meals to ready-to-cook sauces and adventure packs available at the Mobile Café.”

The Brahim’s light meals were introduced in conjunction with the brand’s 30th anniversary, and now available in most supermarkets and hypermarkets at RM6.99.

The Brahim Anyone Can Cook Roadshow will head to Johor Baru in December.
