SIBU: Single mothers, though facing many adversities in their life, need to stand up on their own in society, said Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) chairman Datuk Tiong Thai King.

Speaking at the Dudong UPP Women Wing’s Mid-Auturmn Festival celebration for single mothers at the weekend, Tiong, wanted single mothers not to feel bad of their status but instead find jobs and become good guardians to their children.
