THE tenure for current councillors in local municipal councils in Selangor which ends on June 30 will not be extended, says Selangor Local Government, Public Transportation and New Village Development Committee chairman Ng Sze Han.
Over the past month, there have been speculations about the tenure of the current batch of councillors, with some believing that the term will be extended until December.
