Penang Front Party to contest 12 state seats and a parliamentary seat

PENANG Front Party will field candidates in the Batu Kawan parliamentary constituency and 12 state constituencies in Penang.

Its chairman Datuk Patrick Ooi said the state seats are Datuk Keramat, Batu Uban, Pantai Jerejak, Perai, Bukit Tambun, Bukit Tengah, Sungai Puyu, Bagan Dalam, Bagan Jermal, Machang Bubuk, Padang Lalang and Berapit.

“We will field candidates from all races. There will be two female candidates.

“The list of candidates will be announced next week,” he said this to reporters after buying the nomination forms for the party’s candidates at the Penang Election Commission office in Weld Quay yesterday.

He said the age of the candidates range from 38 to about 50.
