Estate operator allows workers to keep their passports

KOTA KINABALU: Plantation workers of Wilmar International Limited’s estates in Lahad Datu have the liberty to keep their own passports.

Previously, they needed to wait at least a day before they could get their passports from employers if they wished to head to the town or other places.
