Leo Club membersdistributing the food aid to the needy at RRC Restaurant.

THE Leo Club of Brickfields Asia College (BAC) and the Vogue RRC Restaurant collaborated for the third time since 2015 to distribute food to the needy.

From October last year, the Leo Club of BAC and RRC Restaurant joined forces twice a month to do their share in helping to feed 200 needy people in Brickfields.

The Leo Club of BAC, a sponsored programme of the Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur, also collaborated with the Lions Club of KL Bukit Kiara for the event.

Policy Street joined the project as its official protection partner.

The project has also gained support from the local community as can be seen in the amount of sponsorships received in both cash and in kind.

The project would not have been a success without the support of TedBoy Bakery, Contra Enterprises, Laboost and Kara Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd who sponsored food and drinks.

Supreme Frozen Sdn Bhd donated RM1,700 and 200 apples. The club used the allocation to buy biscuits and buns which were distributed during the event.

Those interested in sponsoring the next distribution to be held in February or would like to join as volunteer for future projects can contact the organising chairman Michelle Ho at 016-8089598.
