MELAKA: The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) earliest hospital, 94 Hospital Angkatan Tentera (HAT) in Terendak Camp here, will be upgraded this year via a new initiative under the MAF Health Services (PKAT) Transformation Plan 2017-2050.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the upgrading works are vital and need to be done urgently as the existing infrastructure at the hospital, which began operations in 1964, are unable to accommodate the technical requirements of a hospital nowadays.
