Dimsum date with Taiwan star


Chen will be having a meet-and-greet session with fans at dimsum’s ‘Celebrate Asia with Us’ event at Gurney Paragon Mall.

CATCH Taiwanese TV personality Chen Mei Feng at dimsum's 'Celebrate Asia with Us' event in Gurney Paragon Mall, Penang, from tomorrow till Sunday.

The multi-talented actress and celebrity host will be singing songs and interacting with fans during a meet-and-greet session at 8pm on Saturday.

Dubbed ‘Taiwan's Most Beautiful Obasan’ due to her svelte figure and youthful skin, she is also a beauty and healthy lifestyle expert who shares tips and recipes through her own popular show, A Date with Mei Feng, which is available on dimsum.

Fans should not miss the opportunity to see Chen, who has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, live in person at the mall's Atrium.

'Celebrate Asia with Us' will also feature an exciting range of activities from 10am to 10pm on all three days.

Visitors can enjoy these at thematic pavilions representing China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

Those who subscribe to dimsum during the event will enjoy a special first anniversary offer at only RM5 every month and be entitled for a lucky draw that offers prizes such as a Samsung 43" Full HD Smart LED TV, exclusive merchandise and more.

Each account on dimsum allows up to five devices concurrently on smartphones, tablets, laptops and TVs. In addition, dimsum provides streaming experience in full HD and with multi-language subtitles.

Leading dimsum’s list this year is the period drama Huang Fei Hong, about a legendary martial arts master and hero.

This month, dimsum welcomes the addition of Miao Mi, a kids edutainment that is designed for pre-schoolers aged three to six to learn Mandarin through entertaining stories such as Miao Mi Classroom, Write with Miao Mi, Star Babies, Secret Y, Fire Engine RAY, Happy Friends and Bellbug Popo.

In the coming months, dimsum will continue to launch GMM branded content from Thailand (Aow, Love Song Love Series 3, Lhong Fai AKA the Writers, Slam Dance, Love Under the Shadow, Club Friday Celebrity).
