KUCHING: Sarawak government has urged industry players to be more active in their roles to improve skills and standards of students in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to aid human capital development.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said industry players could emulate training programmes practised in Germany, where trainees spent three days a week for industrial training and two days at the training institutes, for a period of three years.
