LEAKING roofs, corrosion, mould, broken pipes, cracked doors and windows, old wiring hanging off sockets and main switch boards falling apart are the poor conditions that greet visitors to the Petaling police station in Jalan Kelang Lama, Kuala Lumpur.

And if that is not worrying, the investigation rooms at the four-storey building look more like a crime scene minus the thugs.
