Jazz up your May with this music festival in Indonesia

Looking for something fun to do in Indonesia this month? Why not check out the myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026?

Also referred to as Java Jazz Festival, the event is taking place at NICE PIK 2 (Nusantara International Convention Exhibition) in Benten on May 29-31.

You can catch dozens of performances that will be held on 10 stages each day. 

There will be special performances by Grammy winners, such as Jon Batiste, Ella Mai and Daniel Caesar, and Seoul Music Awards Best Band winner wave to earth.

The festival line-up will feature international and local artists. Thes include Dave Koz and Friends Summer Horns, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay, João Sabiá, as well as Indonesian musicians such as Aku Jeje, Mahalini, Maliq & D'Essentials and Yura Yunita. 

Aside from enjoying the performances, you can also check out the art installations spread throughout several areas of the festival.

This might be your first time to the venue, or even to Benten. But don’t worry, the organiser will be providing transportation to and from the venue.

“In addition to presenting world-class music performances, we also want to ensure that the journey to and from the festival can be experienced comfortably, not only by visitors but also by event workers, by providing special transportation services to the festival location,” Dewi Gontha, president director of PT Java Festival Production, said in a press statement.

Throughout the festival period, you can take the round-trip buses from Lippo Mall Kemang, Plaza Senayan, fX Sudirman and Sarinah Thamrin.
