ZENITH, the luxury Swiss watch brand, celebrates the opening of its first standalone boutique in Malaysia – in partnership with Swiss Watch by Valiram.

The official opening party welcomes the watch cognoscenti, industry insiders, and celebrities to The Exchange TRX – a dynamic epicentre of Malaysia’s financial district in the country’s capital city.

Guests are welcomed to an intimate cocktail reception where the night’s highlight is the ceremonial lighting of a star – a fitting tribute to Zenith’s guiding philosophy, “Time to reach your star”.

A vibrant lion dance follows, symbolising prosperity and good fortune while creating an unforgettable moment of joy and tradition.

In lieu of the traditional ribbon-cutting, Zenith CEO Benoit de Clerck together with Zenith SEA brand director Emilie Bruyer and Valiram executive directors Datuk Sharan Valiram, Ashvin and Mukesh Valiram illuminate the blue star that embodies Zenith’s commitment to horological excellence and innovation.

Reflecting on the milestone, de Clerck says: “This boutique stands as a testament to Zenith’s commitment to bringing our timepieces directly to the Malaysian market.

“This significant step is not just about expanding our footprint, but about deepening our connection with Malaysian watch enthusiasts and offering them a unique and immersive experience in Zenith world.”

Ashvin echoes this sentiment, adding: “Opening the Zenith boutique at The Exchange TRX reinforces our commitment and quest towards bringing the shopping experience of local luxury watch buyers to the next level.

“We are confident that our long-standing relationship with Zenith will enable us to showcase their watches and stories in the most authentic and engaging way possible.”

In an exclusive reveal, Zenith unveils a special edition of their Defy Skyline Tourbillon in collaboration with contemporary artist Felipe Pantone.

This exclusive timepiece, limited to only 100 pieces, marks the third collaboration between Zenith and the internationally renowned artist.

Guests at the event are privileged to be among the first in the world to preview this masterpiece ahead of its global debut.

The boutique, a collaboration with premier luxury watch retailer Swiss Watch, offers a refined and immersive journey into the world of Zenith.

Spanning 54sq metres, the boutique’s contemporary design harmoniously blends cool grey walls with serene blue accents and sophisticated wooden flooring.

The façade seamlessly incorporates Zenith’s iconic four-pointed star motif, subtly integrated into illuminated and tiled elements.

A striking star structure graces the side window, offering a captivating visual experience.

Within the boutique, visitors are invited to discover Zenith’s curated collection of timepieces, each narrating its own unique story.

Among the showcased pieces are the latest Defy Skyline Chronograph Boutique Exclusive, Defy Skyline Skeleton White Ceramic and Defy Skyline Chronograph, exemplifying Zenith’s dedication to precision and innovation.

As the evening progresses, guests savour bespoke cocktails and canapes, accompanied by vibrant beats from DJ Ira Roslan.

Adding a personal touch to the event, guests enjoy a personalised coaster activity where they have the opportunity to create their own unique keepsake.

The event is also attended local luminaries, including national track cyclist and Olympian Datuk Azizulhasni Awang, actor Azrel Ismail and singer Syamel, marking a memorable evening for Zenith in Malaysia.

The first Zenith boutique in Malaysia is located at G.08, Plaza The Exchange TRX, Persiaran TRX, Kuala Lumpur.
