With Autumn/Winter 2023 in full swing, you would probably have already spotted some of these famous faces fronting campaigns.

The industry is seeing a diverse crop of stars making the cut. From young to old, as well as various ethnicities, it is certainly a beautifully varied fashion season.

Both veterans and rising stars in the entertainment industry are being featured too – which is something that will appeal to all age groups.

Padam, padam...

Music legend Kylie Minogue is the face of the Jimmy Choo x Jean Paul Gaultier shoe collection.

This collaboration is very much an epic one as it sees two fashion powerhouses working together – and who better to bring it visually to life than Minogue? The singer has had a long career, which started all the way back in the late 1980s.

The song Padam Padam, from her latest album Tension, has put her back in the pop culture spotlight this year.

K-pop represent

V (Kim Tae-hyung) of BTS was named as ambassador for Celine in March. It proved that the K-wave is stronger than ever – and that K-pop stars are the major players in the style scene.

Last week, the fashion house released campaign visuals featuring V for Autumn/Winter 2023. It quickly went viral, sending his fans into throes of excitement.

The black-and-white images show him styled to suit a masculine rocker vibe.

Sustainable partnership

Last year saw Billie Eilish fronting Gucci’s eyewear campaign. This year, she worked with the fashion house again to bring to life the new Horsebit 1955 bag.

The emblematic design is transformed using Demetra, an innovative animal-free material that mimics leather.

Eilish has been a vegan since she was 12 years old and thus, this campaign is perfect for her. The singer has long been outspoken on environmental issues as well.

Having started her career in the 90s, Shu Qi is a recognisable face in Asia – and around the world.

Early this year, she was appointed as Michael Kors’ global ambassador. In the Autumn/Winter visuals, the actress is seen posing against the backdrop of Shanghai’s iconic Bund riverfront.

She was named a 2023 Venice Film Festival selection committee board member only recently.

Next fashion royalty?

Emma Corrin, who shot to stardom playing Princess Diana in the fourth season (2020) of historical drama The Crown, is the face of Miu Miu’s new campaign.

This is not her first time though. Corrin fronted the brand’s 2020 Holiday collection. The actress also walked the runway during Miu Miu’s Autumn/Winter 2023 presentation at Paris Fashion Week.

Last year, fashion magazine Vogue dubbed her “a new kind of red carpet risk-taker”.

Woman of the hour

Taylor Russell has been making headline since last month, after rumours surfaced that she is in a relationship with singer Harry Styles.

While Styles is a fashion icon himself, Russell also has her own influence in the industry. The actress was named by Loewe as global ambassador late last year.

The latest campaign sees her dressed in sophisticated clothing and accessories, but styled more playfully.
