In partnership with Ducati, Carrera has come up with an eyewear collection that combines sport and fashion. It takes inspiration from the motorcycle manufacturer’s most high-performance model – the Panigale V4. It not only has straight temples with metal insert to be worn inside a helmet, but also adjustable to fold around the ears for everyday use.

Spotted on the models at Junya Watanabe’s Spring/Summer 2022 show are nifty sunglasses by Randolph. There is even a limited-edition reflective metal case that can double as a mirror of sorts.

For guys who are eco warriors and want to look good without much of the guilt, Garrett Leight has a new collection of environmentally-friendly eyewear. It features the brand’s classic frames reimagined with the introduction of an innovative, sustainable material: an eco-acetate that is claimed to be bio-based and biodegradable.

Another level

Oakley, having recently signed on footballer Kylian Mbappe as brand ambassador, is known for its range of performance-driven sunglasses. One of them being an iconic pair with a radical aesthetic and form that fits perfectly with the contours of a person’s face. Or as Mbappe himself puts it: “The eyewear is pretty cool – you really feel like a superhero when you put on Kato!”
