I'm 46 years old and I’ve been having a nagging feeling: I’m getting old.
It’s not just the white hairs in my beard, or the dark circles that seem to have embedded themselves as permanent fixtures under my eyes, though that’s definitely part of it. One’s physical appearance is inextricably linked to how one feels about oneself. My father once told me when he was in his 50s, that he’d been looking in the mirror for years wondering who the old guy looking back at him was.
