Pet lovers around the world aren't taking chances during the Covid-19 outbreak. They are doing what they can to safeguard their pets' health, in addition to their own.
Many are adhering to the stay-home order and are content to just play with their furkids in their own homes or compounds. Those who are permitted to walk their dogs in the outdoors are choosing to do so while keeping a safe distance from other people and animals.

Some pet lovers are keeping their furries protected with the necessary gear and face masks as well.
And since vet clinics are generally closed during the pandemic, except in cases of emergency, some vets are making house calls to check on their four-footed clients.
In some parts of the world, prayers are held for household pets and domesticated animals. It is a tradition in Nicaragua for locals to pray to Saint Lazarus for the health of their dogs. In thanksgiving for favours granted, they bring their pets dressed in costumes to attend mass in honour of the saint.
