Hong Kong actress Carman Lee made headlines in August after revealing that she was once stopped by Thai customs officers, who suspected her of carrying a fake passport as she looked much younger than her actual age.
According to Singaporean news outlet 8days, the 59-year-old has once again mesmerised the public with her beauty after a video of her at a night market in Changsha, China, resurfaced on social media.
Clad in a fitted grey crop top and black sweatpants, Lee proved that even in casual wear, her radiant glow and timeless charm remain unbeatable.
As she wandered from stall to stall to sample street food such as grilled skewers and stinky tofu, a crowd of admirers followed closely behind.
Clips and photos from the outing quickly went viral across social media, with many praising Lee for maintaining her youthful looks and fit physique.
Some even likened her to the “immortal beauty” Xiao Long Nu, the character she brought to life in the 1995 drama Return Of The Condor Heroes.
“She looks better in candid shots than in retouched photos,” one person said, as quoted by 8days.
Another commented: “With that posture and skin, I’d believe if you told me she was 30. You really can’t tell her actual age at all.”
Lee mentioned in a past interview that regular exercise helps her stay in shape and boosts her confidence. She spends about 90 minutes at the gym daily and lifts weights at home too.
The actress often posts makeup-free selfies and has expressed pride in her natural appearance, adding that ageing has “brought me wisdom”.
