Hong Kong actress Nancy Wu is now a married woman.

The 44-year-old surprised fans on Monday (Oct 6) after announcing that she had wed surgical doctor Akin Chan just days earlier on Oct 3.

Wu celebrated the joyous day with two Instagram posts.

The first was a collection of five photos taken in a picturesque, hilly location overlooking a lake – showing the couple cutting their wedding cake and locked in a tender embrace.

The second offered four more intimate shots, including a photo of Chan backhugging Wu, alongside the caption: “Good timing finds you first. Heaven is so good to me.”

For the record, Wu confirmed her relationship in November 2024 but kept Chan’s identity a secret up until the marriage announcement.

Despite her discretion, the pair had already been spotted on multiple dates by the media.

According to TVB, Chan graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and holds a certificate from the Royal College Of Surgeons Of Edinburgh.

As a member of the humanitarian organisation Doctors Without Borders, Chan has devoted much of his time to aid work, often volunteering in Pakistan and South Sudan.
