Japanese singer Aska will be holding his first ever concert in Malaysia on Feb 23.

Set to take place at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, Who is Aska? will see the 66-year-old performing over 20 songs.

Making the show all the more special and intimate is Aska’s daughter Kaoru Miyazaki, who will be sharing the stage with him.

Kaoru, 35, made her singing debut in 2012 and has released songs such as Kimi To Sora, Very Merry Christmas and Winter Dream.

At a press conference in KL last month, Aska expressed hopes to take his Malaysian fans on a journey to reminisce about the good old days.

The singer was once part of the successful music duo Chage and Aska, best known for hits such as Say Yes, Morning Moon and Love Song.

Since kickstarting his solo career in 1987, Aska has released over 10 studio albums.

He’s known for the 1991 song Hajimari Wa Itsumo Ame, which sold over 1.1 million copies.

Aska further established his name in the global music scene after collaborating with renowned Canadian producer David Foster in 2023 and 2024.
