Pax Jolie-Pitt is out of the ICU but still recovering after suffering a head injury in an e-bike accident that left him hospitalized.

Jolie-Pitt, 20, drove into the back of another vehicle at an intersection in Los Angeles last week. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.

The son of Angelina Jolie, 49, and Brad Pitt, 60 had a brain bleed and has a long recovery ahead of him, a source told E! News.

“He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy,” the anonymous source said. “Pax and Angelina are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received.”

Jolie—who also shares Maddox, 23, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15, with Pitt — has been at the hospital with Pax since last week while the siblings have all visited multiple times, another source told the TV station. Shiloh, Maddox and Zahara have all dropped Pitt’s surname from theirs recently.

It’s unclear whether or not Pitt has visited his son as he has visitation with the twins, but “virtually no contact” with his adult children, according to People magazine.
