House Of The Dragon has shown its hand.

It didn’t even take three episodes for HBO’s Game Of Thrones prequel to debut a CGI screw-up to its loyal audiences, as pointed out by fans on Twitter.

The visual blunder came in the form of Paddy Considine’s King Viserys Targaryen’s missing fingers. The digits are there in plain sight, covered by a green-screen glove.

“Not the green screen glove on Viserys’s missing fingers,” one viewer pointed out on Twitter.

“The CGI team soo focused on the dragons they missed the small details,” another Twitter user theorised in response to the post.

HBO has acknowledged the CGI error and said that the error will be corrected, reported Variety.

The gaffe isn’t the first to plague one of Thrones scribe and House Of The Dragon co-creator George R. R. Martin’s screen adaptations.

During the eighth and final season of the former, Twitter went wild when viewers spotted a coffee cup in front of Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

“TBH we’re surprised she didn’t order a Dragon Drink,” Starbucks, originally believed to be the source of the unwelcome inanimate intruder, quipped on Twitter at the time.

Though some thought the cup’s presence might not even be real, art director Hauke Richter eventually told TMZ that the cup wasn’t one of Starbucks’ and it was, for all intents and purposes, a one-off, which he blamed on the “very hard and demanding” shoot as well as “an exhausted crew.”

“We are usually so diligent that this does not happen,” Richter told the outlet at the time.
